The Neighborhoods

Reno’s food and drink scene isn’t defined by lines on a map. It’s shaped by the neighborhoods where people gather, build, and return to again and again.

Throughout the year, Reno Food & Drink highlights different neighborhoods through a series of self-guided exploration experiences designed to encourage discovery, support local businesses, and reward great experiences.

These neighborhoods are not boundaries, but a way to explore the city through its food, drink, and community.

How It Works

Each neighborhood features a rotating exploration designed to be experienced at your own pace during a designated timeframe.

The active neighborhood and its corresponding dates will be announced through the Reno Food & Drink app, shared with email subscribers, and published on the website.

Visit any location within the featured neighborhood, enjoy your experience, and keep your receipt. After your visit, upload your receipt through the app for verification.

Once your receipt is processed, you will receive an in-app notification with your punch code for that location, along with the total number of points earned for your visit.

Each verified visit earns 1 point per dollar spent, along with 25 bonus points for tips of 20% or more. Punch codes must be entered by you in the app to apply toward the active neighborhood punch card. Please do not use the punch code more than once. Punch codes are not to be shared. If you have an active Reno Food & Drink membership, your point multiplier will apply.

There is no cost to these experiences, no set route, no schedule, and no required order. You choose where to go, when to go, and how many places you explore.

Participation in punches and points requires the Reno Food & Drink app.

What You Earn

For each verified visit:

  • Earn 1 point for every dollar spent (pre-tax)
  • Earn 25 bonus points when tipping 20% or more
  • Receive a punch toward the active neighborhood experience

If you have an active Reno Food & Drink membership, your point multiplier will apply.

Points can be redeemed at any time for any active rewards available within Reno Food & Drink.

How Locations Are Included

Locations are identified based on their presence within each featured neighborhood and are notified when they are included. There is no cost to be listed, and no action is required to participate. This is not a recommendation or endorsement, but a way to present the full range of food and drink options within each neighborhood.

Because this is not a coordinated promotion, staff at each location may or may not be aware they have been included. Guests are encouraged to visit as they normally would, just as they would when exploring any new place.

Locations are not asked to offer special menus, discounts, or modified service. The goal is to experience each place as it is genuinely presented.

If a location prefers not to be included, it will be removed from the list.

The Neighborhoods

Neighborhood explorations rotate throughout the year, offering a self-guided way to experience Reno’s food and drink scene. While neighborhood features are between rotations, we invite you to continue exploring what’s happening now. Neighborhoods may overlap, and some locations may appear in more than one area based on how people naturally explore and experience the city.
