The Signature Giveaway

Reno Food & Drink Week is built on participation, engagement, and celebration of our culinary community. The Signature Giveaway is our points-based, earned-entry drawing designed to reward guests who actively participate in the event.

Points are earned through completed evaluations and qualifying event participation and may be redeemed for entries into The Signature Giveaway. All points are awarded and redeemed through the official Reno Food & Drink Week app.

Promotion Timeline

Early Engagement Window: February 1 through March 18 at 11:59 PM PST
Event Earning Window: March 18 through March 31 at 11:59 PM PST
Evaluations will be accepted (for visits dated Mar. 18-Mar. 31) through April 1 at 11:59 PM PST
Redemption instructions will be sent via an app notification on April 2
Redemption Cutoff: April 4 at 11:59 PM PST
Drawing Date: Week of April 9

Eligibility

Participants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. There is no residency requirement; however, many prizes require in-person redemption in Reno, Nevada. Travel or accommodation is not included. Reno Food & Drink Week leadership and individuals directly involved in administering the giveways are not eligible to participate.

How The Signature Giveaway Works

Participants earn points through participation activities during the promotion period. Points may then be redeemed for entries into The Signature Giveaway drawing.

10 points = 1 entry

Points are not sold. Entries are not sold. Points must be redeemed by the redemption cutoff date. Unredeemed points expire after the cutoff.

Ways to Earn Points

Click on each of the items below to view more information about that way to earn your raffle entries.

Various participation opportunities may be offered through social media, newsletters, and the RFDW app prior to the event. These may include engagement challenges, subscriber bonuses, app-based activities, and other promotional opportunities.

Each activity will clearly state the number of points available and any requirements.

Limit: One app download bonus per person. Bonus points will be issued once per participant.

Guest feedback is a critical part of how Reno Food & Drink Week recognizes excellence. Guests are asked to score their experience based on what they would reasonably expect on a typical visit.

A valid evaluation submitted with a qualifying receipt earns:

50 points for the completed evaluation
PLUS
1 point per dollar spent
PLUS
25 bonus points if you tip 20% or more based on the pre-tax subtotal

Example: $75 receipt + completed evaluation + qualifying 20% tip = 50 evaluation points + 75 receipt points + 25 bonus points = 150 total points = 15 entries (10 points per entry)

Important: A receipt only counts if submitted with a completed evaluation.

If multiple guests share a receipt:

The receipt may be uploaded by each individual submitting an evaluation.
Each person uploading the receipt must complete a full evaluation.
Each uploader must declare how the total dollar amount is being allocated among participants.
The combined allocated amounts must equal the full receipt total.
All individuals listed must submit matching allocation amounts.
The total dollar amount may not be exceeded or duplicated.

Example:
If a $200 receipt is split between three guests:

Guest A declares $100
Guest B declares $60
Guest C declares $40

All three submissions must reflect those same allocation amounts. If allocations do not match across submissions, the receipt will not qualify for points.

Each participant will receive 1 point per allocated dollar plus 50 points for their completed evaluation plus 25 bonus points if the tip shown on the receipt meets or exceeds 20% of the subtotal.

Receipts may not be reused across different allocation groups.

Any duplicate, inconsistent, manipulated, or conflicting submissions may result in disqualification of the receipt and possible account review.

To qualify:

Visit must occur between March 18 and March 31
Receipt must be from a participating Reno Food & Drink Week establishment
Receipt must clearly show business name, date, and total paid
Receipt must be complete, fully visible, and clearly readable
Receipt must be unaltered

Receipts submitted without a completed evaluation will not earn points. Guests are asked to score three areas using a simple 1–10 scale.

Food & Drink Quality and Execution
How well was the food or drink prepared and presented? Consider flavor, balance, temperature, consistency, and overall execution.

Service & Hospitality
How did the experience feel from arrival to departure? Consider friendliness, attentiveness, professionalism, pacing, and how welcome you felt.

Perceived Cleanliness
How clean and well cared for did the space feel? Consider dining areas, restrooms, tables, floors, and overall upkeep.

Guests should score based on the full experience, not just one element.

1–3: Below expectations. Issues were noticeable and impacted the experience.
4–6: Met expectations. Solid and acceptable but not standout.
7–8: Very good. Strong execution with minor opportunities for improvement.
9–10: Exceptional. Intentional, polished, and memorable.

There are no “right” or “wrong” scores. Honest, thoughtful feedback matters most.

SUBMIT AN EVALUATION

Earn 10 points for each original post, reel, story, or TikTok shared. You are welcome to post as many times as you like. The more the better!

For guests who want to fully explore Reno Food & Drink Week, the 26 in 2026 Challenge Punch Card adds an extra layer of fun and rewards along the way.

Each time you visit a participating location, enjoy the featured offering, and submit your evaluation with a valid receipt in the Reno Food & Drink Week app, you become eligible to receive a punch toward completing all 26 locations.

Milestone rewards are built into the Punch Card. As you progress through the 26 locations, you will earn bonus points that count toward entries in The Signature Giveaway:

Reach 25% of the Punch Card (7 locations) — earn 70 bonus points
Reach 50% of the Punch Card (13 locations) — earn 130 bonus points
Reach 75% of the Punch Card (20 locations) — earn 200 bonus points
Reach 100% of the Punch Card (26 locations) — 260 bonus points and one entry into The Grand Giveaway

How The 26 in 2026 Challenge Works

Visit a Location
Choose any participating Reno Food & Drink Week location and enjoy their featured offering or anything on their regular menu.
Submit Your Evaluation
Open the Reno Food & Drink Week app, submit your evaluation, and upload, text, or email your receipt. Evaluations are only considered valid when accompanied by a corresponding receipt.
Receive Your Punch Code
Once your evaluation has been received, you will receive a punch code through a notification in the app.
Enter the Code
Enter the code in the app to record your punch and track your progress toward completing all 26 locations.
Earn Rewards Along the Way
As you progress through the Punch Card, you will unlock milestone bonus points for The Signature Giveaway.

All visits must occur during the official event window and include a valid receipt. Reno Food & Drink Week reserves the right to verify submissions and adjust or remove punches if entries are incomplete or do not meet program requirements. Punch codes are provided to confirm a visit, may only be used for one punch, and should not be shared.

Community involvement is one of the values reflected in Reno Food & Drink Week’s invitation and evaluation philosophy.

During Reno Food & Drink Week (March 18–31), five nonprofit partners will be featured throughout the Reno Food & Drink Week ecosystem — within the RFDW app, on the official website, across social media channels, and through event communications.

Participants may earn bonus points for supporting each featured nonprofit:

Donate $25 or more directly to a featured nonprofit and upload your donation receipt to earn 100 points
Share the featured nonprofit’s official spotlight post or donation link on social media, tag the nonprofit and @RenoFoodWeek, and use the hashtag #RFDWCommunityImpact to earn 50 points

Participants may complete both actions for each featured nonprofit. A maximum of 150 points per charity may be earned during the event.

Donations must be made directly to the nonprofit organization and are not payments to Reno Food & Drink Week.

Redeeming Points

Points may be redeemed directly within the official Reno Food & Drink Week app for entries into The Signature Giveaway and, where offered, for other available rewards or promotional opportunities.

Points redeemed for giveaway entries convert at a rate of 10 points per entry.

All redemptions must be completed no later than April 4 at 11:59 PM PT.

Once redeemed, points are deducted from the participant’s balance and the redemption is final. Points may not be reversed, transferred, or exchanged for cash. After you redeem your points, you will receive a confirmation email with your official raffle entry details. This email includes the number of points redeemed, total entries issued, and your specific entry number range. All entries are recorded and added to the full giveaway pool.

Prior to the drawing, you will also receive a notification confirming the total number of entries issued across all participants. Winning numbers are then drawn at random from the full pool.

Participants may choose to transfer all or a portion of their points to the Year-Round Points program.

Reno Food & Drink Week is not responsible for incomplete, delayed, interrupted, or unsuccessful redemption attempts due to user error, internet connectivity issues, device limitations, or platform interruptions. Participants are strongly encouraged to redeem points in advance of the deadline.

Year-Round Points

The Reno Food & Drink Week app may offer additional opportunities to earn points throughout the year.

Points earned between February 1 and March 31, 2026 qualify as Event Points and may be redeemed for entries into the 2026 Signature Giveaway. Participants may choose to transfer all or a portion of their points earned between these dates to Year-Round Points.

Points earned outside of the official event earning window are considered Year-Round Points and do not qualify for the 2026 Signature Giveaway drawing. Year-Round Points may be used for future promotions, rewards, or engagement opportunities offered within the app.

Point balances and applicable redemption options will be displayed within the app.

Reno Food & Drink Week reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue point-earning opportunities and redemption options at its discretion.

Winner Selection

The week of April 9, winners will be selected at random from all eligible redeemed entries. Each redeemed entry equals one chance in the drawing. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries redeemed. The drawing will be conducted using a third-party, verified random number generator through Random.org. An individual can win up to three prizes, but may not win the same prize more than once.

General Conditions

Must be 21 years of age or older to participate.
Points are earned through participation activities and are not sold.
Points may not be purchased, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
Reno Food & Drink Week reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, receipt manipulation, duplication, or abuse of the point system.
Void where prohibited.
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with prizes received.
