Community & Charitable Experiences
Community & Charitable Experiences showcase select events throughout the year that reflect Reno Food & Drink’s commitment to strengthening Northern Nevada’s food-and-drink and nonprofit communities.
These experiences are independently produced by participating nonprofits, organizations, businesses, and event organizers. They may include fundraisers, tasting events, culinary collaborations, galas, educational programs, chef dinners, and other community-focused celebrations. Reno Food & Drink shares these events with its community of app users, members, subscribers, and followers to help connect people with meaningful local experiences.
Purchase your tickets directly from the event organizer, then simply text or email your ticket receipt to Reno Food & Drink to earn 1 point for every dollar spent on tickets, plus a 250-point Community Support Bonus for participating. If you’re a Reno Food & Drink member, your applicable membership point multiplier will also be applied.
This is our way of recognizing and rewarding community members who support the organizations and events that make Northern Nevada special.
Participating event organizers are encouraged to offer exclusive pricing or added-value benefits for Reno Food & Drink members, although member benefits are not available for every event. When offered, any member pricing or special benefits will be clearly noted within the individual event listing below. Event formats, pricing, charitable beneficiaries, and inclusions vary by organizer and event.
Community Champion Experience Giveaway
Every time you purchase a ticket to a qualifying Community & Charitable Experience or make a qualifying donation to one of our Featured Charities, you’ll also automatically receive one entry into our annual Community Support Giveaway.
At the conclusion of the campaign, one winner will receive a hosted Reno Food & Drink Experience for up to six guests. The giveaway closes on December 31, 2026, and the winner will be randomly selected and notified during the first week of January 2027. The winner will complete a brief questionnaire so we can customize the experience based on their interests, preferences, dietary needs, and Reno Food & Drink membership level. The experience must be redeemed during 2027 on a mutually agreed-upon date with the Reno Food & Drink team.
Each qualifying ticket purchase and each approved charitable donation earns one giveaway entry, so the more you support Northern Nevada’s food-and-drink and nonprofit communities, the more opportunities you’ll have to win.
